Gerard is the renaissance man who puts his heart and soul into everything he does. Whether its a simple sammich, hours of makin’ gumbo. or raisin’ the walls of BUB Café, this man has dedicated so much time and effort to making sure you have a wonderful dining experience from the literal ground up!

Geena Doherty: Our Fearless Leader
BUB began with ‘Dessert First’; makin’ wedding cakes and taking catering orders from Geena’s 900sq. foot apartment. She’s not quite sure how she did it back in the day but she did, with the help of her family and friends, Gerard, and whole lot of positive thinking, she turned this crazy idea into BUB. ‘Butter Upon Bacon’ it’s victorian slang for gilding the lily or ‘that little bit extra’; we hope to always bring you an experience that is a little bit more magical than your average, everyday sammich shop. Geena is excited to be a part of BI and to serve you!

Ashley Mixon: Generally Awesome Manager
Ashley’s creativity can be felt from the minute you step into BUB. Gorgeous window displays, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that she looks to create with her years of hospitality experience. Our FOH Manager is always available to assist guests and staff to make their BUB Café adventure the most enjoyable it can be!

Sarah Howlett: Executive Pastry Chef and CInnamon Roll Queen
Sarah is a whizz in the kitchen when it comes to anything sweet! Her pastries are not only beautiful to look at but absolutely scrumptious to enjoy! Her cinnamon rolls are anything but ordinary: they are one of a kind mile-high beauties and we can’t wait to introduce you to her and all her sweets!
